In case you missed it, Home Comfort Experts was featured on ABC 57 News on October 18th. The story was emphasizing the importance of furnace tune-ups both for energy advantages and safety concerns. When you have a tune-up, our technicians will check to make sure there are no deadly carbon monoxide leaks. Tune-ups will also help prevent breakdowns in the middle of winter and they will maintain your warranties on your equipment. Perhaps most enticing reason to have a tune-up though, considering the cost of energy these days, is the fact that a furnace that runs efficiently will save you money on your gas bills. That’s a benefit you will actually be able to see and feel.

If you are planning on buying a new furnace or air conditioner this year, it’s possible to not only get a great system, but to help disabled American veterans as well. At Home Comfort Experts, we want to give back to our veterans for their tremendous sacrifice to keep us all free and safe. So we started a 9-week campaign on September 11th (Patriot Day) that runs through November 11th (Veterans Day). During this time, we will donate up to $100 to the DAV for every new heating and cooling system installed.
“We have thousands of veterans right here in Mishawaka and surrounding cities,” our owner, Todd Mann, said. “Recognizing their sacrifices, and those of the men and women still serving, just seems like the right thing to do.”
What exactly does the DAV do for veterans? The DAV is a non-profit charity dedicated to improving the lives of injured American veterans and their families. These men and women have made a great sacrifice and deserve our respect and assistance. The DAV was founded in 1920 after World War I and was congressionally chartered in 1932 as the official voice of our nation’s wartime disabled veterans. The DAV helps veterans with paperwork such as filing claims for disability compensation and pension, rehabilitation, employment, education, home loans, health care, life insurance, death benefits, and more. Plus, they provide free services like counseling, community outreach, and information seminars. They help our injured heroes readjust to life once they return from the battlefield.
We wanted to do something to honor these brave Americans and we know you feel the same way. So if you need a heating and cooling system, call Home Comfort Experts for Furnace Installation today and we will donate up to $100 to the DAVwith every new installation. All of our locations are participating, but this promotion ends November 11th, 2012, so don’t put it off. You’ll feel warm on the outside and on the inside this winter.
